We believe that all children are successful, competent and resourceful learners who are capable of constructing their own knowledge of the world around them. We believe in equality, inclusion and diversity.
We understand the benefits of providing a holistic learning experience for all our children in a caring, enriching environment supported by knowledgeable and passionate educators who value families and the community.
We work to develop respectful, caring and responsive relationships with children by connecting with families to support each child’s grown and development.
As a result our educators ensure that their expectations of children’s development are specific to each child. This is why we implement a play-based program, grounded upon the principles outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework.
We support each child to ensure they develop a high self-esteem and a strong sense of identity by encouraging all their efforts and giving them positive feedback for their achievements.
At Kids on the Rise we consider meal times to be an important part of the children’s daily routine as it encourages social interactions between children and educators, as well as provides an opportunity for children to extend on their self-help skills. We believe that all meals should be nutritional and freshly prepared on a daily basis to ensure that each child’s dietary needs and requirements are met at all times.
